LV3 is the design firm for organisations whose data outgrew their plan for it. We design how that data is used. We design how it is protected. We bring the systems back when something breaks. Below is who we are and how we work.
What we design
We are not just an IT consulting company. We are not just a company that develops and sells terminals. We are IT designers, changing the world with the power and skill of design. What we design includes:
Three pillars
Each pillar carries its own products. The links below jump straight to the product mockups in plan/.
Hands-on consulting for organisations whose data has outgrown their plan for it. Six-step engagements grounded in DMBOK and PMBOK. We lead with the design — and can take on the build too, from contract development to a proof of concept.
Where social need defines the brief and the system has left a gap, we build. Mission-driven, not price-competitive. Three products in production.
Research and the published body of knowledge that grounds the consulting practice. One book ships with 技術評論社 in August 2026.
Our team
Engagements draw on a small in-house core plus a wider network of specialists per project. Below are the seven teams a client typically works with.
Strategic direction · client engagements · partnership development
Operations · finance · legal · HR · keeps the firm on the rails
Cryptography · IT-governance research · published papers and books
DMBOK-aligned data architecture · governance · stewardship workflows
Engineering · the people who turn the design into running code
Hardware design · device integration · field deployment for AG, Ugoku, Mirror Computer
Visual identity · UX · publications · the discipline of how everything looks and reads
Founder
His twenties were spent as a hands-on engineer: writing the driving-simulation test programs for Japan's first hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle, installing large radiation systems at military facilities and heavy plants across East Asia, and leading the rollout of megawatt-class power converters (inverters) into power stations with engineers in each country. The systems were always the kind that are not allowed to fail.
He then led the build of a core retail system managing hundreds of millions of items across 2,000 stores worldwide with radio tags (RFID), from design through implementation. In 2017, on the back of all of it, he founded LV3 Corporation.
Since then he has served as the planning and design lead (technical officer, technical PM, IT designer) on more than ten large-scale programs across insurance, payments, pharmaceuticals, automotive, shipping, trading, and semiconductors — redesigning data management at the scale of 100 million records a day, and designing a data fabric (a way to work with scattered data as one, without physically centralizing it) spanning headquarters in Japan, Europe, and the US. Every one of them, a system at the company's spine.
He still works on the front line, while writing the methodology down as books and research. His technical range runs from BI, data warehouses (DWH), and databases to PLM (product lifecycle management), networks, security, and data governance. He has published over fifty tools of his own, and filed an international patent for a task-management system.

Our policy
LV3 was founded with the belief in the power of IT to protect the safety and order of society.
With a sense of mission born of the founder's experience, we use IT design and technology to confront major social problems.
Although the people who do this work have no special abilities, they carry out their mission as modern-day "heroes" by protecting social systems through IT.
If you have a project, a roadmap that needs designing, or a fire that needs putting out — drop us a line.
